Being an Artist

Being an Artist means being true to yourself. You can’t produce your best work unless it’s coming from a place of authenticity. Art is an expression of the truth of the person producing it. You can’t accurately express something that isn’t you. It’s going to take for you to be brutally honest with yourself to be an artist. It’s rough sometimes, but it will truly be the most rewarding path to tread.

I truly believe that we are all artists at heart. We may choose to create all together different things in very different ways but that doesn’t make us any more or less of an artist than anyone else. There is a peace that overcomes you when you create something from the heart. It just feels like something we are meant to do.
